What it's like working here
Working at The Children’s Place has been one of the most life-affirming experiences I have encountered. I am humbled by the chance to work with children and their families in effort to create a safe environment, not only
in-the-moment but in their futures. It is often times challenging but is unbelievably rewarding. Recognizing the impact and benefits that are being made in-the-moment can effect individuals and families far into the future; making homes, communities, and our state a safer place for children.
It is often just being kind and listening that makes the biggest impact.
Poet and civil rights activist, Maya Angelou, once stated “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did,
but people will never forget how you made them feel”.
